Central CHILE : Hike, Climb, Surf // EP. 85
We kick off by exploring central Chile, starting in the volcanic region of the Andes. We take some off-the-beaten-path routes, climb, and hike.
Then, we make our way to the Pacific Ocean, stoked to get back to surfing. Along the way, we dive into how important it is to do things independently during long-term travel.
Watch as we go from rugged mountains to the coast, catching waves at Punta Lobos in Pichilemu. It's all about getting back into the groove and enjoying the ocean we missed so much.
Enjoy the Ride!

Join us as we go rock climbing around el Chaltén, visit Perito Moreno NP and celebrate Christmas in a cabin. The video is also a moment for reflection, on the joy of traveling for ourselves, not for the views. Sometimes, going back is just what you need. Enjoy the Ride! 🫶 A...

This is a first for them, sleeping in a van, driving off-road and it's going to get interesting. First we need to pick up Karsten in San Martin de los Andes after his Huella Andina experience and then we can head south towards Bariloche and Circuito Chico. if I had to g...

We did it again, we got stuck pretty badly with our Land Rover Defender, this time on top of a remote mountain in Argentina. (Tromen Volcano). In this case we are alone to find a way to get our bluelandy unstuck from snow and mud. We knew it was ...
Why We Can't Get Enough of Argentina // EP.75

Sure enough, Argentina is becoming one of our favorite countries in this trip. We cannot choose one single country but we have our preferences. We felt in tune with Georgia, Iran, Saudi Arabia and Namibia. They all offer one way or another what we crave and show in this video. We give up about getting any climbing gear in Mendoza, as it is incredibly expensive. Now, we have more time we need to...

There is one thing about Overlanding we got very wrong and we didn't realize until later during our trip around the world. But as time passed we realized that what we for us meant Overlanding was completely erroneous. We explore some of the pros an cons of...

Really great setup, just view, my suggestion (before watching your other video, next thing i will do soon) are more electrical spare like: wire , connector, swtitch (!!!), crimper, kumpercable/booster, some relay and finally solenoid starter(!)... and I hgave spare vise can mount on trailer hitch
How amazing and a little bit dangerous ;-)
You mean the climbing falls? 😅 Mine was a planned fall, but bad executed from my part. Kai's was a coincidence that there was a sharp stake exactly there... He was lucky he didn't fall more...
@@Thebluelandy Oh yes, you are really lucky ones, even the path for the landy in the river.
Very interesting
Thank you for the feedback!!

Hello and greetings from Montreal Canada 🇨🇦 this is truly a great video for me to learn about Namibia because I’m going to spend my vacation this year in Namibia. I have two weeks .I’ve never been to Africa before so it will be my first time .Thank you. have a great day.
Loving your content 👍
Thank you so much!! 🙌
Loved seeing you all rebuilding the road in that one spot rather then just stoping . That’s real over landing . Leave it better then you found it , and don’t let little things stop your adventures . Awesome video again you three cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :):). :) 🌎🍻👍🏼😁

As much I love you guys I hate to criticize you but you guys didn’t need winches etc . I watched you stuck in water and I thought you learned a lesson but no. What you guys need a proper overland lessons . How to use a 4x4 car. I’m saying this because I own one and if you don’t know how to use it or if you are inexperienced when it comes to overlanding then you will forever be stuck like that. Spending all your precious time digging yourselves out and wasting your holiday. Invest in learning how to use your car and how to recover yourself please . Let me call my 9 year old son to watch this
Hey Kenny, we spend more than two years Overlanding, drove close to 90k km on four continents I think we can say we know quite a bit about Overlanding. And yes we were stuck in many places, and we learned things in every situation. The water recovery had not much in common with this one. Sinking the car could have been avoided by walking the river first. This hill side event could have only be avoided by taking another path…. Or running chains (which stayed in Germany). Off-roading looks always easier on video than it is in real life. It’s the same here, the path was steep, tilted, and with the mix of snow and Mud extremely slippery. We’re moving a 3-ton car without axle lockers, on all-terrain tires in remote & tricky terrain. We get stuck, and free the car ourselves to continue the journey with the tools we carry… without any damage or injuries, what comes closer to Overlanding than this? Maybe it was not the most efficient process, we’re not in a race, we’re not on holiday, and its not wasted time if you learn something.
I recommend to buy a JEEP and get rid of this land rover ! 😅
Sorry to disappoint you, ain't going to happen. Jeeps have a lot of drawbacks in my mind. And the community between Land Rover owners is just the best thing of it all! Don't want to miss it.
@@Thebluelandy 🌺🌺
This lamd was taken from the Ovahereo people many years ago during the genocide and these German descendants think it was just passed down, cause it was bought from locals,no the government at the time which was german that chased the Herero by forced sold it to their own people.Basically sold stolen land.
Yeah, we can agree the German colonial past is another dark spot in the German history, it is still not present enough in education. and as far as I know there is still a process of compensation ongoing. But Again, going against the families running farms today and assuming what they “think” or blaming someone today is not, helping or repairing any damage made 150 years ago due to the political agenda of Germany.
All that land for one family, while there is are at least 20-35 more families that can benefit from that land.Ask yourself why don't they donate and share and work towards impowereing others. So much privately owned land for 1 family
I'm reading a lot of assumptions, and accuses. If I remember it right, how that farm is run, whats the size of the plot, how the owners interact with the community was never a topic of this video. So please don't judge about something, that's not touched. We’re just sharing our experiences while we were invited to this place.
@@Thebluelandy OK sorry.but just do think about this and look for a soft spot for the people who are starving in this country and have roofs over their heads.etc
Very nice ... wonderful
Thank you
Thank you for your feedback! 🤗
Hola chicos, que bueno verlos todavía por Suramérica. exitos y saludos
Si!!! Todavía quedan aventuras que compartir!
@@Thebluelandy Genial sigan compartiendo q nosotros disfrutamos tambien.saludos
I have a question: Is that all you are going to show of the Carretera Austral? Because I found very dissapointing how little time you gave to it, only 1 video?. Places like Villa O'Higgins, Rio Tranquilo, Lago General Carrera y las Capillas de Marmol, Cochrane and the rivers Nef/Baker confluence, Puerto Chacabuco, Puerto Cisnes, Puyuhuapi, Queulat Glacier, Futaleufu (the town and the rafting in the river rapids), Hornopiren, and several other places were completely left out. Call me picky, but after 9 videos dedicated to the argentinian side of Patagonia, I really was expecting more for our side :-). Cheers!
Hey! Sorry to disappoint. 🤷♀️ We traveled much faster than usual this time for several reasons. Typically, we avoid touristy places and activities. And this area, including what you mentioned like Capillas de Mármol, is very touristy and not as interesting for us. We prefer wilder spaces and fewer towns or cities. But this is just personal preference. Of course, we share the places we visit, but we don't travel just to show them. The Carretera Austral crosses beautiful landscapes on its own, and we enjoyed it that way. In any case, we traveled much faster in Chile than in Argentina, mainly due to the prices and the privatization, which makes wild camping difficult, as we are used to. Thank you for commenting and touching this topic, it's also important for us to share our preferences and our choices! 🤗
What a road! Thanks for the lovely film.

It is really beautiful there, but one needs to have good weather, which we did! With rain it can turn into a nightmare due to the roads!
Es war absolut wunderschön, und das Wetter...das Beste, was wir uns erträumen konnten!!😍
Loved the drive thank you for sharing. I prefer the dirt sections myself but some pavement is welcome once in a while. Hope they keep it the way it is.
The dirt sections are normally in the parts of the road that are even more stunning, but yeah after a while of tough terrain, the paved road feels soooo good!
